What is charcoal?
1. Charcoal is the dark brown or black porous solid fuel that remains after incomplete combustion of wood or wood materials, or pyrolysis in the absence of air.
2. Advantages of charcoal:Long burning time, high calorific value, no smoke, no explosion, environmental protection and economy.
3. Uses of charcoal:Charcoal can be used as a fuel for household life, boiler combustion, and power generation in power plants. At the same time, because of its unique microporous structure and super adsorption capacity, it is widely used in many fields such as food, pharmacy, chemical industry, metallurgy, national defense, agriculture and environmental protection.
Principle of carbonization
The carbon-containing biomass material is subjected to dry distillation and oxygen-free heating, and then passes through four stages of moisture removal, thermal decomposition, carbonization and cooling. In the whole process, combustible gas, tar and charbon can be generated, among which combustible gas can be collected and used as fuel; tar can be used after separation and purification.
Introduction of carbonization equipment
At present, we mainly have four types of carbonization equipment, namely: hoisting carbonization furnace, horizontal carbonization furnace, continuous carbonization furnace and sawdust carbonization machine.
1.Raw materials: The size is less than 20cm, and the moisture content is less than 15%, such as logs, irregular branches, coconut shells, bamboo and machine-made rods.Recommended to use hoisting carbonization furnace and horizontal carbonization furnace.
A.Hoisting carbonization furnace
Hoisting carbonization furnace is an environmentally friendly and smokeless carbonization equipment. At present, there are mainly four models of QHL-1, QHL-2, QHL-3 and QHL-4 to choose from. The maximum output of finished carbon is 6-8 tons per day.
Hoisting carbonization furnace is separated from the combustion chamber, and the movably installed carbonization liner can be used to achieve continuous operation. One furnace body is equipped with three carbonization liners. When the carbonization liner is replaced, no preheating is required. The cooling is completely separated from the furnace body, the working efficiency is high, and the sealing effect is good.
B.Horizontal carbonization furnace
Horizontal carbonization furnace is an environmentally friendly and smokeless carbonization equipment. The maximum output of finished carbon is 1.2-1.5 tons per day.
Horizontal carbonization furnace, the furnace tank adopts a flat-laying method, and uses internal heat circulation heating to perform heating and decomposition in an oxygen-free state, and finally achieve the purpose of carbonization. The design of the kiln car saves labor and is convenient to operate compared to the hoisting carbonization furnace.
2.Raw materials: The size is less than 3cm, and the moisture content is less than 15%, such as sawdust, rice husk, bamboo powder and coconut husk powder. Recommended to use continuous carbonization furnace.
Continuous carbonization furnace is a new type of carbon powder carbonization machine that feeds in raw materials and discharges finished carbon. It is an external heating type drying and carbonization integrated machine. The entire production process does not produce harmful gases, no smoke emissions, and the generated smoke is self-contained. Use, do not pollute the environment.
At present, there are mainly two models of LXC1000 and LXC1200 to choose from, and the maximum output of finished charcoal is 0.8-1 tons per hour.
3.Raw materials: The size is less than 1cm, and the moisture content is less than 15%, such as sawdust, rice husk, bamboo powder and coconut husk powder.Recommended to use sawdust carbonization machine.
Sawdust carbonization machine can realize continuous operation, while feeding in the raw material and outputting the finished charcoal. The maximum output of finished charcoal is 150-220 kg per hour.
Sawdust carbonization machine has the advantages of low power consumption, simple operation, automation, high yield, and easy control of carbonization technology. It is an ideal equipment for activated carbon plants, mosquito incense plants, firecrackers plants, carbon black plants and manufacturers that use carbon powder.
